China-innovated EDA technology pioneer | PFTN semiconductor

[SuZhou, July 11, 2022] -- Chen Zhi-Ming, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and a famous mathematician in computational mathematics, visited Suzhou Peifengtunan Semiconductor Co., Ltd., accompanied by Ni Zhi-Qiang, vice chairman of the Suzhou Science and Technology Association, and Zhou Hua, vice chairman of the Suzhou Industrial Park Science and Technology Association.

Academician Chen and his party visited the exhibition hall of the company and listened to the report on the development status of China's EDA industry and the bottlenecks in locally-originated software. The team of experts discussed with the company's R&D team on 12 challenging mathematical problems in details, including the uniqueness of solutions of PDEs for advanced semiconductor device simulations is compatible with discrete schemes，calculating approximate solutions for scattering coefficients of electrically large-sized objects in photolithography.

Academician Chen fully affirmed the contribution made by Peifeng Tunan's contribution in the field of EDA, and expressed the intention of cooperation in key technicians research and personnel training.
